“What is ‘COOKING with CHRIST’?”
“COOKING with CHRIST” is the process of bringing Jesus as the Messiah into EVERY aspect of our daily living; to nourish our complete body, mind, and spirit. Jesus Christ (‘Yeshua’ the Messiah) is the divine “Master Chef” that was sent by our Heavenly Father, to teach ALL of us the “recipes for life”; by way of His “Cookbook”, the Holy Scriptures (The Holy Bible – Old & New Testaments).
The primary purpose and theme of the “Cooking with Christ” books, is a metaphor for learning what Jesus Christ taught – as “cooking” with our Lord Jesus the Messiah, is allowing Him to teach US to likewise become “apprentice chefs” – in preparing nutritious “meals” for ourselves and others, so that we may “eat” and they can be “fed”. To become fully nourished in all facets of our being, spiritually and physically, with the greatest “cookbook” ever written – the ‘WORD of GOD’ in the living Holy Bible.
“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity…
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.”
(Proverbs 3:1-2, 7-8) NIV
People have reported healings from many different afflictions, by detoxifying their bodies and minds – through maintaining healthy living practices – just like what the Holy Bible has already outlined for us.
“Cooking with Christ” draws from the combined Judeo-Christian beliefs and traditions. It provides a New Testament understanding of the Old Testament roots in our shared faith, with a focus on Jesus Christ as the Messiah and His Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
“For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body — whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free — and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” (1 Corinthians 12:13) NIV
We thank you for taking the time to look further into the wonders of The LORD – To see what truths can be found with Him and how the principles revealed through the Holy Scriptures can benefit all our lives.
